Baited and hooked. I figured you, like most others, would simply regurgitate what you've heard as reasons why you don't like Sarah Palin and, even worse, champion for Obama when he does the same things.

Tina Fey said she can see Russia from her house. Sarah Palin said you could see Russia from Alaska.
lol fair enough Tina Fey did say that, which is a hyperbole of what Sarah Palin actually said which was something along the lines of: "well, Russia is our Alaskin neighbors...and sometimes they fly their planes over our waters and we have to tell them to go back over to their waters" (im paraphrasing, it was in the interview. Basically, she has absolutely 0 foreign policy experience, and is therefore ignorant of it.
For the record, nowhere did I champion Obama in that post. As far as I'm concerned all politics are corrupt and it's merely a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils in any election (well you can vote green party but you know...lol).

She was one of the champions of "drill baby, drill!!"
You're right. President Obama, although didn't say, "Drill Baby, Drill", expanded drilling in the Gulf (and other places). Also, didn't Obama give BP a safety award in 2009? Also, don't forget there are ,thousands (Maybe tens of thousands), of oil and gas platforms in waters and off our coast. Drilling over water has been going on for over a century... and with the number of rigs in operation, I'd say there has been a pretty soild track record for the operation.
Still, if you're against the expanding of drilling, then perhaps you should stop driving, using products of plastic, oils, electricity, anything not produced locally, etc... since oil is used in every step of our lives...

I'll stick around and watch Obama sink this ship. My point was for Azelma, though, who most likely voted for and supported a candidate that was for expanding off-shore drilling and, in fact, did expand off shore drilling. To retroactively use it as an argument against one person, while pretending the other didn't support it, is stupid and disingenuous. Also, I told her to become functionless because without oil, you would be functionless - I don't even know why she tried saying the "Drill Baby, Drill" slogan was stupid to begin with.
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/02/campaign.wrap/Obama was never crazy about offshore drilling. He has never switched his position on it. He has always taken the "proceed with extreme" caution stance, which is quite different from "drill baby, drill." Also, I think you're forgetting that he just recently put a halt on all new offshore drilling exploration for the time being, in light of the BP spill.
Quote from Obama back in 2008: ""What I will not do, and this has always been my position, is to support a plan that suggests this drilling is the answer to our energy problems," Obama added. "
Personally, that's how I feel. We need to be investing resources into alternative forms of energy, not doing everything we can to suck every last drop of oil from the earth. Disasters like this (still ongoing) BP oil spill just further prove that offshore drilling is not a long term solution.

Nice deflection. Doesn't change the fact that she didn't know what the fuck the Bush Doctrine was. Pretty important thing for a Vice President to know, I'd think.

I have a theory and you may fall in line with it: Unattractive and not-so successful women are jealous of Sarah Palin because she's attractive and successful...
1. I'm not a woman
2. I know plenty of attractive women who are successful who think that Sarah Palin has done more to hurt female progress because of her stupidity than she has ever done to help.
3. What does this have to do with anything? You are using a tactic i've seen many Palin supporters use "oh the liberal media is out to get her!" "oh poor Sarah...it's the mean ugly people who are envious of her perfect smile and outdoorsy charm!"
No, it's the fact that people see her for what she is, a politically uneducated former beauty queen who is simply serving as a mouthpiece for ignorant policies and conservative pundits (Tea Party movement...lol). The fact that she has failed so miserably in interviews shows that when it comes to tough questions that test her true knowledge and opinions of the issues, she is clueless. If she wasn't prepped with it before, or told what to say by her advisers, then she simply resorts to tried and true methods of dodging the question, or giving an moronic half-attempt at an answer.
Yes, McCain lost my vote because he chose that woman as a running mate. It was a political tactic to counteract the "Obama is black" thing, and a ploy to try to get former Hillary Clinton supporters to vote for him. It backfired. It shot a huge hole in the "Obama has no experience" argument (Palin had way less knowledge and experience than he did), and was a significant reason McCain got crushed in the election.
