I just think she's way different then other artists cause she seems like just a giant nerd finally living her dream. She even cries during her performances with all the cheering for her and everyone singing with her.

Me too. I think there is something that certain highly creative people have in common; sort of a "fuck you" eccentricity concerning their art. They create it, and it is fine if you don't like it because they aren't doing it "for" you. People like Bowie, Prince, Pollock, Ginsberg, Dali, Warhol, Hendrix, Lennon, Kubrick (shit.. too many) are compelled to their creativity, imo, and would do what they do if no one ever saw/heard/read anything they did.

Back to the topic: I get a sense of this from Germanotta, but it is WAY too early to tell if she's fabricating this persona, or if she's the real deal. In any case, I think she's fun and interesting. Even if she flames out, it's cool to watch her for now.
