I think the only reason people bother with a relationship, when it comes down to the bare bones of it, is because of one of two reasons (or both):

- They feel they are expected to. Society in general expects you to be in a relationship. If you're not, then you're expected to be looking for one. If you aren't looking for one, Society thinks there is something wrong with you.
- They want something more than physical stimulation from sex, which means they aren't getting it (or enough of it) from non sexual activities. People who usually have love for something (generally learning about something) they tend to have trouble loving someone.

But you know what, do whatever makes you happy. Don't let my debbie-downing and analytical bullshit stop you.

This. But see, there are things than only a loved one can give you. Like, yeah I can talk to my sister when I'm having a bad day. I can go drinking with buddies to forget about it.

But someone who will love you, who will listen to your dreams, your desires. Someone who you can be there for. Someone who you can listen to, help, etc. Essentially, that eternal partnership. Someone who is your best friend, as well as someone who will have awesome sex with you...that's what I'm looking for. I don't need it. I'm happy right now, not depressed. However, I WANT it, why I'm frustrated is that it is such a difficult thing to find.

I work with a bunch of engineers and computer scientists at a telecomm company. There are very few attractive women that work there, actually there's very few women that work there at all. It's a big company so I definitely don't know all the faces there.

I was leaving a few weeks ago and there were a few people in front of me, there was this one woman that caught my eye. I thought to myself damn, that's a pretty nice ass. Good body too.

You have to scan to get in and out of the building, her card wasn't working so I scanned mine to let her through, she looked back and said thanks. I'll be damned, a cute face too... a trifecta!? I smiled and we went on our way. The parking lot is big enough for hundreds and hundreds of cars so there's 2-3 spots reserved for handicap parking and 4-6 spots reserved for pregnant women right by the door. Where's her car parked? Yep, Fucking preggo mom.

my work is fun with women. usually girls who joined the army are either trying to pay for kids, total losers, or attention whores. so i dont even fuck with them.

my favorite past time is that when i am standing somewhere minding my own business, i will hear some girl talking loudly to her friends about something she thinks is really cool, while glancing over at me. it's extremely noticeable that she is talking loudly to try and get my attention for the sole reason that i am not giving her any. anyway, her usual group of weak minded male lapdogs are eating the totally boring shit up and i like to note how her story gets cut short as i walk away without looking at her. it will be like:

girl: so me and my girlfriend were totally out clubbing and started to get tipsy and..
me: (walks away)
girl: and so..we...were getting drunk....and...uhh nevermind.

Interesting thing about girls in the army...i've heard it can get quite complicated.
