This was relayed to me by my brother, as apparently I'd blacked out.

Monday night, at the end of the night, i was pretty hammered. As i was closing out my tab and everyone was leaving hte bar, the bartender(pretty girl natch) said her boyfriend was addicted to wow.

ALLEGEDLY, I said oh yeah? can you give me a sheet of paper? she did. I wrote on it "Battlemaster USDK" and said, "You can tell your boyfriend YOU MET SOMEONE FAMOUS TONIGHT! BAKOW!" and as i yelled "BAKOW" I slammed the paper on the bartop and walked out of the bar.

One time I was with a group of friends, this girl's relationship was going down the drain. I only met him once, apparently he used to be a WoW meganerd, like making PVP videos and stuff, we just joked about it briefly so I don't really know. Anyways, she was bitching and saying a bunch of stuff I can't remember, then she said something about Starcraft 2 and I was all like "<all the stuff she was bitching about>, Starcraft 2? What's your problem, he sounds like a chill ass dude." and she replied "Well if you like him so much why don't you date him" to which I replied "If he can get me in to the beta, I will."

I didn't even have anything to drink yet.

i gave my friend invite to the starcraft 2 beta to my bro, he never used it

I never talk about WoW in public

I remember after gym in the change room i overheard these two black-gangsta dudes talking about WoW. It was incredibly hilarious. They had the doo rags, the jeans below the knees, that whole shpeel and the talk to go with it. To top it off they were incredibly nooby, and it seemed both played warriors so i knew it. One i remember was tripping out about bladestorm and how awesome it was, bragging about their 5k dps on saurfang iirc and their GS.

As i left i just walked up to them and said "11k DPS fury war, 5986 (iirc just had someone tell it to me the day before) GS." And left.

As i left i just heard a "whaaaaat?"

i danced wow dances with the female son of mourning, who danced the night elf dance perfectly.

now that was a weird night.

I also remember once doing 3v3 with my neighbor back in s2. We got farmed by this boosting team the whole night, and got them once again. I'm at my friends place for the night. We get the same team and miraculously kill one of the others and it looks as if we are good. They down our warlock, and we down the other. now its me, and my friend hpal, against their warrior.

At that moment the doorbell rings and the pizza has arrived. My friend gets up and gets it.

Yes, im bored and ive goten on the computer for the first time in a while.

I tell people I go home at night and play WoW...AND NONE OF THEM SEEM TO BELIEVE ME.

I cannot explain that. The ONE WoW nerd we had at work until recently only believed me after I talked to him for about twenty minutes. Then he said something about "GS" and I said, "N00B, UR TEH SUXXOR" and didn't talk to him again and later he got moved to corporate.

i encountered a WoW coworker at my previous job

it was when i was in a raiding guild

he was talking about his priest and doin ubrs and how tuff it was

then later he told me how his guild was wiping on the first pulls in MC

i like to do the male gnome dance irl

The only other wow players I've come across irl all seem to be terrible/super caual but proud/oblivious to their badness.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I don't think the hardcore ones go outside and when they do they don't approach other WoW players in fear of revealing how nerdy they truly are. I never talk to anyone about it, my friend's know I used to play but they would never guess what my /played is and if I told them I would never hear the end of it and neither would any girl I ever spoke to ever .

I was browsing the WoW forums at work one day and a coworker walked by, he was saying how his guild was working on Lurker in SSC, then asked me about my chars... Well I'm a Gladiator and killed Illidan (long before Sunwell released) There was some other guys at work that played and he informed them of my nerdness like some kind of WoW god. He was pretty cool though, the only person I spoke to about WoW on a semi-regular basis since our desks were right next to eachother and it's better than working. He actually leveled a rogue up to 70 on BH in TBC.
