I had a student write about WoW for a paper I assigned him about one of his hobbies. When I gave him back his paper, we started discussing what he had written, etc. At some point I pointed out that he could save time by bypassing a certain boss. He stared at me, mouth open, and said, "You play WOW Mrs. M?????"

Ever since then I have been paranoid that one of my students would find me in game.

I also remember once doing 3v3 with my neighbor back in s2. We got farmed by this boosting team the whole night, and got them once again. I'm at my friends place for the night. We get the same team and miraculously kill one of the others and it looks as if we are good. They down our warlock, and we down the other. now its me, and my friend hpal, against their warrior.

At that moment the doorbell rings and the pizza has arrived. My friend gets up and gets it.

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.
