I don't know about the people who dislike it being more annoying than the people who swoon over the whole thing.

This whole vampire thing has gotten stupid, but it's the same as all the other retarded shit that gets over-hyped, overplayed, and eaten up by all the random asshats with no sense of self that have to latch on to any fad this world throws at them because it's "popular". (UGG boots, anyone? Beanie Babies? The fucking Macarena?)

You can enjoy Twilight and not be a mongoloid, but those aren't the kind of people we're talking about. It's the fanatical nutjobs that buy every piece of twilight merchandise because it says twilight, the people who go through their daily life worried about fictional characters as if they were real people, the tweens running around starting vampire rumors in schools, painting themselves with twilight AIDS glitter, and being patted on the back for it. There are a good number of people who are obsessing over this crap, and it's annoying because it's everywhere.

I don't know anything about the movie(s) other than there's some dudes and some girls, and it looks like a normal, terrible teen movie-- except in this version of the standard, terrible teen movie they added some sparkly vampires. Whoopty-do. Somehow this created a cult following.

Now, I'm not going to go out and publicly mock these people. I'm not going to make or buy anti-twilight shirts or stickers or buttons or any other kind of crap. But every time I see them in public I have the urge to /facepalm and think to myself "these people are fucking stupid".

Man, that part is so heart wrenching. However, there are tons of movies that make me well-up. I just saw Toy Story 3...if you are able to watch that movie and have no emotional reaction at the ending, then you are either dead or a robot.



Anyone who has read any of my posts, (from bus girl...to whatever) knows I am a HUGE romantic. Hopeless even. I love romantic films...here's the thing though, I like GOOD romantic films that don't involve tons of moping, bad acting, and just terrible writing.

Glad it made you laugh because it is the truth. Whenever i go to the mall i barely see anyone wearing twilight stuff. I never hear anyone talking about either unless it is someone bitching and moaning about how much it sucks, stole their GF, raped their cat and turned their mom into a sadist. Unless the obsessed crowd is confined to teenage and preteen girls which is the actual target audience for said horrifically offensive film/books.

Guess all i can say is, if obsessed Twilight fans are annoying you, don't hang out with 14 year old girls.
