I was thinking, for a long time now actually, about a logical conclusion. I've told this conclusion to Meowth with the reasoning for it, and he seemed to be a little mindblown. Maybe not, but in any case he didn't poke a hole in it. Knowing Meowth like I do, he would've poked a hole if he had saw one.

So, the best way to test this logic is to give it to more people to take needles to it.

I was thinking about how many (if not most) people who are against abortion are so because of religious reasons. But, God has given us free will. So if God has given us the freedom to make our own choices, that would make him pro-choice.

"Ok we aren't such things and birds are pretty advanced. They fly and shit from anywhere they want. While we sit on our automatic toilets, they're shitting on people and my car while a cool breeze tickles their anus. That's the life."

I guess the theory is that you're aborting a life and that according to religion taking a life is a huge no no. Hence, you have a choice but there's only one right one in "god's" eyes. That or w/e.

ALL LIFE IS SACRED, KILLING SOMETHING THAT IS ALIVE IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD.

BRB STARTING A WAR AND EATING VEAL/ANYTHING ALIVE.

But in all seriousness, your logic is somewhat solid Weena, problem is you are arguing again people with faith, and we all know no matter how hard you argue that there isn't a god etc. people will always have faith so you can't win.

Fuck Faith in it's butt.

Also Veal is delicious, following weena, If people don't want me to eat veal, don't you think baby cows would evolve somehow making their meat less delicious?

Its like I was reading my 15 year old brother's "I am an atheist, get used to it!" report he wrote for school once.

Adam had the free will to eat the apple and God evicted him from his happygarden so he could create a race of inbred mongrels. Just because you have free will doesn't mean that God (in the hypothetical that he was real) gives you a free pass on everything. I mean, if God created everything, he would've created Satan. Thus, the continued existence of Satan (lol) would be an admission that God is ok with Satan but he completely isn't.

Wow....for once i can actually correct you mayo, and agree with you somewhat. Satan was an exiled angel, so from that we can assume angels have free will. Additionally assuming God is all powerful (which is techincally impossible) yeah he could have just killed Satan, but then you get into the entire Daoism shtick with Good and Evil and without good there isn't evil.

So basically: God is not all powerful, omnipotent, all knowing (because if he was all knowing then he would know what we do before we doing therefore either eliminating free will or All knowing), etc.

God is that guy who just watches us like a reality TV show, revels at our accomplishments, and laughs when we fuck up miserably. God is that Guy.

FYI: Total Agnostic here, just stating what i remember from my Philosophy of religion course 2 years ago, which was amazingly hilarious. BIBLE BANGERS VS ATHEISTS.

yes to pro choice.

it's your choice to make the right one or the wrong one.

there you go, a definitive answer. if we ever meet irl, i could swing the memories of someone who endured one your way so you know, in spirit, first hand.

that is if you're woman enough. :)

Religion doesn't even factor into the equation for me:

Publicly, I'm pro choice.

Personally, I'm 100% pro life.

I'm pro choice because I'm practical and realize that crime rates dropped significantly after Roe V Wade. Poor people who had no business having kids (or more kids) in the first place were finally able to get abortions and stop raising kids in broken homes who grow up to be criminals. These are facts.

Privately, I am pro-life. If I ever knocked up a girl, I'd want her to keep the kid, I'd even offer to take care of it 100% after it was born. Why? Because:

1. I don't want that shit on my conscience. You can't tell me it's not a form of murder. It's going to be a human child...it's a life. If you abort it, you are ending that life...end of discussion

2. I actually want to be a dad anyway, so even though I'd like to wait a few years...if it happened today, i'd be like...alright.

3. I have the means and intelligence to raise a child. Aborting it would be quite the selfish act.

I think abortion itself can be quite selfish. What I mean is, yes...use protection, use other contraceptives to try to avoid having a kid. But, if a kid happens, you knew the risks. People want to get off and not worry about the consequences. Well....sorry, sex is designed to make babies. If you are taking the risk, you should live with the consequences.

However, again i realize that poor morons and slutty teens shouldn't be populating the earth. To that end, I am pro choice.

But as for me personally. Pro Life.

I think it should be the woman's choice, but if the man is against keeping it he shouldn't have to pay child support.

Of course, most people would discuss keeping it or not but w/e.

It's the woman's body, if she wants it gone and the guy wants it to stay, tough titty.

I'd say it's pretty clear he was keeping it gender-neutral rather than objectifying it.

Which isn't to say that a fetus isn't an object.

Thank you Tuhl. I do understand how refering to said life as "it" could be taken as insensitive or negative, so my apologies to those who feel that way.
