but yeah Kamguh main reason i wanna link my 360 is because my college monitors and limits our bandwidth on our PC's but we have unlimited bandwidth w/ game consoles.

So basically, i can watch unlimited netflix if it's through my 360, but only 2-3 movies a week if i run it though my computer/torrents.

Hmm, have you tried to change your computer's hostname and MAC address to that of your 360, chances are MAC addys are how they are tracking your useage, so by cloning it onto your computer you get to masquerade around as the 360 provided they aren't doing some kind of fancy mapping shit that would be able to tell what ports are open to identify the device.

*head asplode*

Bro, simple solution to a simple problem.

When i go into netflix on my 360, it provides me a linking code that needs to be entered on netflix in order to link them (Kamguh i dunno had to do it when i did it last year, so it might be somewhat new).

ya was saying above that they monitor, my bandwidth on my PC but i have unlimited bandwidth on my 360. So best course of action for me is to stream netflix through my 360.

And yeah helpx (or w/e) they monitor bandwidth by MAC address here, and i know the workarounds to it on Windows, just not on mac (LOLOLOL MACZ SUK), + our school has a pretty solid comp sci department who they employ for the tech shenanigans.

here's how to do it in linux:

# ifconfig eth0 hw ether 00:c0:ff:ee:01:01

here's how to do it in osx, depending on which version you have:

ifconfig en0 ether 00:c0:ff:ee:01:01
or
ifconfig en0 lladdr 00:c0:ff:ee:01:01

so difficult.
