MTG + DBZ? Isn't that what Yu Gi Oh was?
No.
Below is the best video I could find that show cases a bit of the game but it doesn't really do it justice. Nothing beats getting slammed through a wall into some pillars only to have them and the ceiling come crashing after you. They took down the official site, it used to have all kids of neat clips and shit.
You had what was called an arsenal(a deck). You could put 40 skills in it and you needed to have enough aura(mana) in it to make sure you didn't get screwed. There were different types of skills(defensive, offensive, enviroment, status, erase), they each had their own school(color), Psycho, Optical, Nature, Ki, and Faith. There were three types of arsenal cases(1 school/fast aura gen, 2 school/average aura gen, and 3 school/slow aura gen), you could only use that many different schools/colors in your "deck". There were multiple strats. Depending on what char you picked you had a jump or a cartwheel, I always kinda favored the cartwheel but the jump was good for many reasons.
Now, it was DBZ in the since that, you're launching big ass spirit bombs, flying around and blowing shit up. There's a highway level and you could smash people through the ground and they'd fall to their deaths(lose 2 hp or w/e it was, the game much like magic also used a 20 point system).
It was just all in all a really fun game, the single player was a little lacking but still good.
