and I'm not sure if these markers are still going to be placeable on the ground like that, if so that would help alot with telling people where to run and shit.

He was normally dead so I always just camped the Cenarion Cirlce dude under the FP tower. Then one day, the Lunar Festival happened, I did a few of the quests and took the port there. Upon arrival, I was charged by about 30 guards there and killed instantly. I had no idea what was going on at first haha. So in the end, I guess that guy got the last laugh.

The change to raid markers is good mainly because they are now distinct from flares and the pathologically compulsive such as myself will now have a reason to fill an empty slot in our huge toolboxes with them.

The change to Gamon is bad because internal references and self-parodying are hallmarks of a declining franchise.

i think there's more to the gamon-issue than self-parodying. what i mean by that is perhaps they are attempting to dissuade players from killing him so rogues can actually do their quest

They're replacing all class quests with new class quests for Lvl. 20 and Lvl. 50, so it's not inconceivable that turning Gamon into a raid boss was to prevent people from killing a quest required mob.

The self-parody thing is 50/50. After over a decade of South Park, Matt and Trey are doing some really funny stuff with Kenny and his constant dying from the first several years of the show.

Apparently, it's C'thulu's fault that keeps happening...or something, I missed the third one. I should check the interwebs for that.
