finale was a total let down.

season finales should have something more than "hey we went in a building, found out that the world collapsed during the zombie invasion(when doesn't it?) and then we left, with the guy living in the building and one of the minor charachter/ethnics staying behind in the inferno."

nothing happened, its just like xmen 3.


read the first volume of the comic and you'll understand my disappointment better, and please no "well its going to be different from the comic."

It hasn't come on yet for me. I didn't read but I almost did.

Also, it was a show they didn't know would work. You can't expect the best.

it's a show based on a comic book which they veered off from about 3 pages in.


the comic is excellent, the show was too, except for the final two episodes.

she was married to the black guy right? wouldn't have cared about the ending if it was a character who actually should've been all LOL I'M SO EMO WORLD OVER, blonde chick would've fit that part.

otherwise it wasn't a bad finale, but coulda been more.

Jean came back to life! but then she died!
xavier died! but then he came back to life!

wolverine came back! but then he left!
storm was a bitch! and continued to be a bitch!

cyclops died! maybe!
magneto lost his powers! but got them back!

fuck that movie.

I was more annoyed at the complete irrelevance of plot. They just came up with some bullshit excuse to throw in as many characters as possible. The first two weren't masterful storytelling, but at least they held up to a light breeze. In X3, instead of using the Golden Gate Bridge as an actual bridge to move his mutant army of throwaways into a fight scene, Magneto could have JUST FUCKING CRUSHED THE BUILDING and killed that retarded plot-device kid.

Plus Brian Cox is awesome in X2.

I think it was a set up for the second season. It gives them a blank slate to work with.

It'll probably be more survivors v. survivors than survivors v. undead now. You've got all of these problems that they can choose to develop and what not.
