Then they're definitely in the minority. Everyone has something they want to hide. Before we because started into our version of the final days of the Roman Empire, the people on Jerry Springer would have killed to hide the things they go on TV to brag about and show the world. Everyone has something to hide.
Funny, though, how someone was arguing earlier that there were probably more gays than were estimated because they weren't open about their sexuality...maybe not everyone wants to be open about where they stick their junk.

It's worth noting that rampant homophobia was one of the causes of the decline of the Roman political system.
It was the Romans who invented the political strat, "if you really want to make some guy look bad, say that he's gay".
One of the defining characteristics of the late Republic were politicians who gave self-righteous spiels about moral degeneration while their own contribution to the injustices of Roman society were the actual cause of the Republic's problems (i.e., Cato the Younger).
Another major cause of the decline of the Roman political system was militarism and how the military became the tail wagging the dog and a drain on national resources, and how the axiom "to make peace, prepare for war" proved tragically false as the Romans' military power dragged them into spiraling conflicts they could have avoided entirely.
