Until you can get a legendary from PvP, this is a PvE game.

When the supposed PvP tough guys can ace supposedly simple PvE mechanics like running to the correct side of a dragon, and not nerdraging/ninjalogging because they are too proud to admit they consistently fail at entry-level challenges, I'll believe PvP is fundamentally harder than PvE.

I don't talk about pve cuz i don't like to do it and am uninterested in it.

if pve nerds felt the same about pvp, this thread would have never happened. The grass isn't greener, stay in your yard.

I'm not sure how you're able to say Pve is harder then pvp. Pve is a scripted boss that does the same thing over and over. Once you get one look at the boss, that's what that boss is doing for the rest of that raid. He doesn't change, people in pvp however do change. You aren't able to predict what players do in pvp, which will always be a harder mechanic then a scripted, repeated mechanic. I'd say it's harder to get a rank 1 title then get a legendary, especially with WoTLK legendaries. Every mediocre guild could get a shadowmourne.

legendaries are RNG. How bout i go get some dice, throw them til i get three pairs of 6 in a row, and call it even?

this thread was about pvp being broken, not whether or not its easier than pve. Yes it's broken, thats why there's always FOTM classes etc. Yes wow is a pve game with pvp in it. I still enjoy it just for shits.

you don't like/suck at pvp? fine. don't do it. go play another, better pvp game. if you hate it and keep actively doing it, then you're the idiot.

I don't think discussing WotLK PvP OR PvE is helpful to anyone's arguements tbh. That expansion was fucking horrible.

i was replying to your "carebear" remark. My take on this specific issue is that the shortcomings of WoW PvP are driven by the fact that it is a fundamentally PvE game.

You care enough to ninja log when you do it, then fail at it.

PvErs care about PvP when it affects their game experience because of nerfs/adjustments to suit PvP needs,

Team Awesome did pretty well for themselves.

Then they merged with the server's top PvE guild (which PvP'ed extensively) and downed Kel'thuzad.

PvP tough guys who are actually tough guys can ace PvE, because surviving as a priest in 5v5 will always be harder than not standing in fire.

PvE is a joke compared to PvP. Only exception to that is maybe heroic 25s and even then it's still all just scripted and you have to be on your game but nothing changes.

PvP too at some points can become a scripted battle but there's always a chance that's it's not.

Edit: Maybe Meowth will have some more input having done both a good bit.

The apex of skill is mastering both. That's not to say that reaching that apex is merely an extension of one of the two halves - quite the contrary.

Personally, on the occasions where I PvP, I often take PvE-driven approaches that are not obvious to a PvPer such as PvP tanking.

Are you saying PvP tanking is a rare thing? If so I laugh at your foolishness.
