Well, I'm back playing and still enjoying it. Mostly because I connected with some old friends and have had fun socializing.
Looking for Raid isn't as bad as I'd have thought. Mostly facerolling content and getting a shot at decent gear. Nice way to see things without having to be in a "raiding" guild with a schedule there's no way I could keep.
That said. WoW continues to die:
http://techland.time.com/2013/05/09/the ... -warcraft/Still the largest MMO by far...but losing over 1 million subscribers in 3 months isn't good news.
1) I think it's just a ridiculously old game...so no wonder it's still declining
2) Questionable Blizz decisions have alienated many long time WoW players
3) They are losing Asia (most people point to this as the biggest reason)
4) Increased competition and F2P models crushing it
Interesting stuff all around. I wonder what will happen with "Titan" some people are speculating Blizz will announce it at Blizzcon this year. I assume it will cannibalize the rest of WoW's base...then it will become an F2P game with a few microstransactions available here and there.
IDK, what do you guys think?
