or am I naieve to beleive this is enough to be wealthy?
"The annual salary of each Member of Parliament is, as of 2010, $157,731"
Jushiro seems to agree with me...or is just as Naive.
The only person, other than Aestu, who has discussed this is Tuhl:

Congressional pay is significantly lower than what those guys would be making as lawyers. This is an empirical fact. There's plenty of truth to Aestu's statement that people go into politics for power rather than for money; the two can have a lot in common but are not synonymous.
He is arguing that these Congressmen could make more as lawyers. Makes sense. But is Tuhl then implying that they are drastically underpaid for their services, OR that $170,000 per annum is not a good wage?

Not sure if this is a troll or not. If it isn't, he hasn't provided any other facts, just "Aestu makes sense"
So far it's Jushiro and I saying that $150,000 is a good salary and enough to be relatively wealthy.
We'll throw Necra, Aestu, and Tuhl in the other camp.
Am I missing any non-Aestu made arguments?
