The religious rites of other cultures are ridiculous? That's the thinking of a racistbigothomophobe, sir. Not only that, you said no one does that seriously. Obviously someone did/does. They just don't count in your book, because you hate brown people.
The religious rites of
all cultures are ridiculous.
Nothing fails like prayer.
What if there IS a God, but none of the religions on Earth have their shit right, and they are all worshipping the various deities in the current religious cultures.
And then the REAL God is all like:
"nigga plz. I'm black, the virgin Mary was a white gurl an my son is biracial n shit. But I ain't the Father. Keepin it real. None y'all mothafuckaz gettin into heaven till y'all niggaz get it right."
And he's just megatrolling the entire religious population of the world.
This mostly states a feeling I've had for a while.
I don't care about people's belief or disbelief in higher power(s), nor do I really care about the religion of anybody that refrains from letting it all hang out.
But one thing about religion that always annoyed me is the pompous attitude that is innate when anybody claims to know something about higher power(s) and; what they are, how they work, what they want, how they created everything, why they created anything, etc etc. On the off chance there is a higher power(s), I'm going to take the sure bet that neither you, nor the countless generations that have claimed to proxy it's knowledge to you, know jack shit about said higher power(s).
