That's truly strange...you don't even remember why you took the gloves?

My in-game mistakes are burned into my memory, and I wasn't ostracized nearly as badly as you were...it just surprises me that you would just forget.

The incident occurred pretty late at night and I logged right after dropping the group. And over the last two and a half years I've heard so many different versions from people (and purposely built on some of them for fun) that I can't decide on one myself. I suppose Jushiro's explanation makes a bit of sense, too, but I can remember remembering it a while back. But considering that I haven't played in months, I'll just go with the status quo and chalk it up to greed. Since I was a fresh 80 and had never led a successful 25-man before, I suppose I got a bit overzealous with the power of being ML and ended up taking what wasn't necessarily mine. I remember viewing it at the time of the incident as a present for having to put up with the group's bullshit over the course of several hours, though that's clearly not an excuse.

But meh, I can't say I really care about it anymore. Though it was somewhat exciting, for a year or so after the incident, to have to cover up my identity on Digery/Xorii/Nochee/Buttlove/Bryzette---all the same character, in case you're wondering.

If that were true you wouldn't have bothered stumbling over yourself repeatedly.

You've been falling under the influence of that one whiny, emo, egomaniacal paladin/forum troll, I see.

Also, it's perfectly fine to just say, "I did it because I was stupid, but I like to think I've become a little less stupid these last two years."

If "stumbling over myself" is equivalent to "not caring about the motivations behind an event that occurred over two and a half years ago" then sure, I'm stumbling over myself. But to be quite frank, I just really don't give a shit anymore. Especially when talking about it on a forum populated by people who, for the most part, haven't ever held a serious conversation with me in-game. Or, in some cases, ANY sort of conversation. Bonus points when one considers that I no longer play the game that this forum is essentially dedicated to. Though I'm pretty sure that that last bit applies to most of the community here at this point.

Most people haven't had a serious discussion with you because you were the joke of /2 for the thing you posted in a regret thread that you regret something you don't regret, then regret posting about something you supposedly regret but can't quite remember or care about.

How regretfully vapid.

At least I thoroughly enjoyed all the terrible things I've done in WoW.

There's something uniquely satisfying about convincing people to literally follow you off a cliff.

Grouping with Landstalker's shaman required the placement of a ui button to cancel waterwalking.

I always parachute cloak down ToC or Azjol-Nerub. Always.

No one has ever accused me of being a paranoiac.
