The incident occurred pretty late at night and I logged right after dropping the group. And over the last two and a half years I've heard so many different versions from people (and purposely built on some of them for fun) that I can't decide on one myself. I suppose Jushiro's explanation makes a bit of sense, too, but I can remember remembering it a while back. But considering that I haven't played in months, I'll just go with the status quo and chalk it up to greed. Since I was a fresh 80 and had never led a successful 25-man before, I suppose I got a bit overzealous with the power of being ML and ended up taking what wasn't necessarily mine. I remember viewing it at the time of the incident as a present for having to put up with the group's bullshit over the course of several hours, though that's clearly not an excuse.
But meh, I can't say I really care about it anymore. Though it was somewhat exciting, for a year or so after the incident, to have to cover up my identity on Digery/Xorii/Nochee/Buttlove/Bryzette---all the same character, in case you're wondering.
