Funny that Quad is ripping on an anthem that is a source of such pride - must be a Canadian thing. After all, Canadian NHL fans boo when they play the US Anthem in their arenas (happened every game the Flyers played there last year in the playoffs). Ironically, I don't hear US fans boo the Canadian anthem in US arenas...I guess there's just different definitions of class.

It's happened on both sides, but I don't think you can generalize from the actions of drunk hockey fans to the general attitude in the country. Also, this:

Surprisingly Philly fans cheered and clapped for the Canadian anthem in response (if you know anything about Philly fans of any sport, you will find this surprising).
