I don't think they do simply because their tolerance is retarded. I thought I could hold my own until I went to Oktoberfest. In fact, if there was that much high-quality alcohol given to people in the states, it would either be a riot or a national tragedy.

Holy shit, that was awful.

I had gotten off the computer after writing my last post and, after talking to my dog for a few minutes, ran to the bathroom, where I vomited for about ten minutes and passed out with my head on the rim of the toilet bowl. I woke up a little while later with old piss on my hair, threw up some more, then fell on the bathroom floor and slept for god knows how long. I woke up still drunk and saw the floor and both bathroom rugs covered in black vomit. I cleaned them off with some toilet paper, stumbled into bed, and slept until six. Woke up feeling somewhat tipsy, tossed both rugs into the sink, cleaned the toilet and floor, and sat in front of the TV for about an hour watching Disney or some shit.

I currently have to write a 500-word article on the rising ground above the Yellowstone supervolcano and an eight-page essay on a chapter of Machiavelli's Il Prince in relation to American politics. I haven't started either and I need to be up at five tomorrow morning.

Note to self: Never drink hard liquor alone again, ever. EVER. FUCKING EVER. Because what starts as a little kickstart to the day will almost always end up ruining the next 48 hours (and your bathroom) depending on how much you have to work with. I had a lot to work with.

And yeah, it was supposed to just be a little boost to my writing for the aforementioned essay, but my genetic predisposition to alcoholism coupled with having been raised in a bar environment (my parents were both bartenders when I was a kid) told me to keep going to the point of no return.
