Haha
Sorry.
In my relationship, I am the irrational and spontaneous one with money...if either of us are.
Kelly is very money smart, keeps herself to budgets and most of the time, keeps me from just spending every cent we have.

BTW, that's cool you guys are sharing a bank account...at this point in my life, I couldn't imagine doing that with someone else. When my sister got engaged and started sharing her bank account she mentioned how it was kind of scary/odd to get used to.
Yes.
And yeah sharing a bank account is pretty cool. She thought I would have a problem with it but I don't at all. I have never been that guy where "This is mine! This is yours!" so it works out perfectly. At first she was nervous about going out shopping and buying clothes because the income percentage to our account is weighted heavily towards me. So I had to reassure her that it did not bother me in the slightest.
Having the joint bank account makes it SO easy to pay all the bills and track overall budget, savings, etc. through sites like Mint.com.
Especially owning a house. I set up a budget a while ago and went through it with her so each month we set aside X amount for the wedding, and Y amount for savings. The rest is bills, food, entertainment, wow subscription, good beer etc. Been very useful so far and I would definitely recommend it to those in a long term relationship. Makes a lot of things more convenient but I can see how it might cause fights if either person in the relationship is a little "This is mine! That is yourS!"
