Ok since I started this thread I figure I will make a comment or two. Basically what we have learned is that TB as well as many other (but not all) high end guilds are having recruiting issues. Their "bad rep" may or may not have caused this and several core players got tired of people licking windows during raids and left. Aestu hates almost everyone that is not named Zaryi. And finally we learned that Blizzard may or may not inflate account totals but they really could not since they are a publicly traded company.
Oh and is Tempest really coming back? That would be sweet if they did.
Almost perfect, one error:

We weren't saying that Blizzard straight up inflates the totals on their books - we are saying that Blizz CLAIMS the totals are higher than they really are. Totals are inflated by people who have multiple accounts, Chinese people who have to pay a fraction of the cost that Americans/Europeans have to people for subscription, as well as people who may have open accounts but simply don't play anymore. Basically, the consensus is the actual
active player base is much smaller than that 14 million total. So yes, Blizzard is definitely inflating their subscription number figure when they market their product (they aren't telling Activision, the company that owns them, that they have higher numbers than they do...they are just lying to consumers).
