A few people I know have mentioned this add on and I figured I would give it a try on my shaman.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/reforgenator.aspx

The stat weights come from EJ and there are actually links to EJ in the add on in case you wonder where the info came from. It gave me a general idea of reforging for resto since I only dps in raids on 1 tank fights, I was just wondering if anyone else used it and what the thoughts were.

When the blurb includes throws like "stat weighting" and "straight from EJ" that makes me doubt it will be any more reliable than Rawr.

What it SHOULD do is automatically get a player to the hit/expertise caps as narrowly as possible then reforge everything else for secondary stats. It sounds to me like this mod will do what Rawr does which is give solutions that defy common sense.

Aestu of Bleeding Hollow...

Actually from what my friend told me, it got his as close to the heroic dungeon hit cap as possible by reforging other stats then it would reforge whatever else he needed for a shadow priest. Then when he used the settings for raid dps it changed all of his reforging to get to that hit cap. It does seem to work as RAWR would. Just a different tool. So yes, it does get you as close to whatever caps are needed for your class without going over any more than it has to.
