If I remember much from my days as the admin of a phpBB board much like this one, I recall auto-logout (i.e. being forced to rewrite your post if you didn't copy paste it even if you were writing the entire time you were "inactive") having a timer. I'm guessing that the timer here is set for somewhere between 30-60 minutes. Would someone be able to, uhh, change or remove it? I don't think it'd cause too many problems.

I don't have this problem with "Remember Me" selected.

I can look around, but I dunno if I can change it.

This is really annoying in different forums. I just started copy and pasting my work to notepad during and/or before I hit send.

or.......you could WRITE it in notepad, and paste it into the forums.

or..... you could just use a browser that, when you press your back button, you have your post intact. open the forum in a new tab, login, swap back, hit submit.

Or just click the fucking 'Remember Me' checkbox and stop sharing computers with your devious younger siblings.

If you didn't guess, I don't have the ability to tinker with it.

I do this sometimes.


This works most the time for me if I forget to copy paste.


I have to say I've always had it checked and I've never had a problem with it so maybe you should just listen to Weena.
