I don't know about you guys, but I'm not at all concerned with a) my damage output and b) my mobility. They're both still fine, and the stacking 100% uptime 30% damage self-buff more than made up for everything.

Looks like we're getting buffs though, looooooooooooool

Warriors had gotten used to having extremely high mobility. Arms warriors were so mobile that kiting wasn't very effective against them, and their uptime was very high as a result. In fact, we'd arrived at a place where melee in general just had too much up-time on casters, especially healers.

I wasn't aware that "wasn't very effective" was the same thing as "practically impossible".

I logged in a couple days ago.

Played a BG. Was happy with a lot of the changes.

Noticed my KC's still don't hit that hard, but then again, neither did anything that hit me.

Still mad that Flare is next to useless.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it's only use is blocking off doorways now, since cat leap and shadowstep are often laggy enough to get an opener off before flare pulls them out of stealth, and disarm trap has a long enough range on it.

Didn't fight any warriors enough to know how kiteable they are, but I can actually stay away from ferals enough to be a threat.

I think the problem they're trying to address is how the entirety of warrior damage is based around Colossus Smash. If it's not up, 4k swings. If it's up, 12k swings.

Yeah.

I'm just not sure if it's a "problem," ya know?

How are warriors doing in terms of fun these days? I'm considering leveling a plate class to 85 (even though I rarely have time to play).

The main issue is that they have only one charge now and most classes have multiple ways of escape. Also that after 3 charges, it DRs with itself.

Here's something I've noticed with warriors...they are often the worst tanks.

Not because the class is bad at tanking or anything...but because I feel warriors need to be slightly more intelligent for threat etc. It's not like Paladins who can run in, consecrate, and just kinda lol and hold decent threat. As a result, retards who buy their warriors or whatever are just awful tanks.

Am I the only one who notices this?

P.S. On the other hand, a warrior who knows what's up and is pro can often be one of the best tanks...imo.

Well getting kited is never fun, but if you have someone dispelling/freedoming you, nothing comes close in terms of fun.

Except fire mages.

Warrior tanking has historically been slightly more complicated/harder to hold AoE threat (unless you are good) than paladin tanking imho. This makes it more obvious if someone is terrible at it.

Didn't blizzard have to buff warrior AoE threat a bunch at one point? I just remember thinking it was more because of bad warriors rather than good ones.
