I like that they can buff specs with specializations, meaning you'll still function the same, just hit/heal harder/weaker. However, they seem to be making some pretty big swings. They'll say "X is a little high/low" then nerf/buff their specialization by 10-20%. Either the specs don't cover what they say that do (all damage/all healing), or there is a disconnect, because a "little low" doesn't really translate to 15% across the board buff.

warrior AoE tanking didn't exist until wrath. i mean they tried to make it viable later in BC, but all they did was allow thunderclap to be used in defensive stance. other then that it was still spamming cleave and tab targeting devastate, all of which was less effective then a single consecrate.

BC fury was definitely the shit though. managing rage, how do.

i'm happy to say i tanked some instances, including magister's on heroic in bc prior to 3.0. that was interesting.

3.0 was a huge improvement in that department. it made me appreciate it more.

Warrior tanking has historically been slightly more complicated/harder to hold AoE threat (unless you are good) than paladin tanking imho. This makes it more obvious if someone is terrible at it.

Didn't blizzard have to buff warrior AoE threat a bunch at one point? I just remember thinking it was more because of bad warriors rather than good ones.

Yeah this is Cataclysm not TBC. Warrior AoE DPS/TPS is retarded now. Consecration is nothing like it used to be and people need to let go of the "lol consecration is easy mode". Assuming you are gearing optimally (I.E. rocking only about 1% hit and going solely for EH) with the change to HotR being an "all-or-nothing" ability instead of a roll for every creature AoE tanking is in a really bad state atm.
