I got more HK's on my rogue (classic main) than on my priest (BC - current main) thanks to these 8hr games. It was so effin epic too, when wolf riders were finally called in and the ice lord... oh man, such fun

I was once 27 and 3 in EotS.

I solo queue bgs most of the time, The worst I've seen my win percent was 53%, best at 61% (averaging all battlegrounds on a character).

Honestly too, even if you do lose as Alliance most of the time, you probably have a fraction of the wait time Horde players do. Me and Meowth went Horde once, didn't last long with 7-13 min queues.

While the queues were messed up I was getting near-instant queues. If I didn't get a bg in the first 30 seconds I would leave and re-queue, most of the time the second queue was instant, I don't think I've ever re-queued more than twice. It seems to be fixed now but I'm still waiting no more than 3-4 minutes and I'm in the same datacenter/battlegroup as BH.

I could be wrong about this but, I always thought requeuing was pointless 99% of the time.

You join queue, you're number 17/40.
BG won't launch till there's 40.
You leave queue and rejoin, you're now 34/40.
Queue pops, (seemingly) faster OR
You leave queue and rejoin, you're now 3/40 or 3/10.
Leading to a short or long queue.

Am I missing something here or is that right

Twin Peaks: 100% 5/5

Y'all are bad. Yet somehow this averages to 56% win when I use BGs played/Won numbers.

You're right if the queues are working properly (and if there aren't so many people playing the bg instance servers are full). After the last patch there were 3-5 minute queues with 30 minute wait times. I heard the complaints from others in bgs and there were multiple bug reports on the forums. I experienced the massive wait times and the odd behavior (could double queue for lfd and bg, couldn't queue for a second bg but would get an error that I was already queued for two, wait time resetting). I was trying different things and noticed re-queueing would usually give me an instant queue.

Considering half the teams are filled with bots now, it's a matter of who sets there bot up properly.

AV does actually favor the Horde if they turtle, but most people are so annoyed they got AV after sitting in a 10 minute queue that they zerg mindlessly anyway.

The other numbers don't surprise me in the slightest. Especially how much better we are at EotS than you.

Weird, I'm getting this too.

Paladin:
Alterac Valley 119/209
Arathi Basin 129/201
Battle for Gilneas 0/0
Eye of the Storm 125/178
Strand of the Ancients 116/173
Twin Peaks 0/0
Warsong Gulch 123/222
Isle of Conquest 64/110
Total: 676/1093 = 61.8% but armory says I've won 493/990 = 49.8%

Mage:
Alterac Valley 52/81
Arathi Basin 70/133
Battle for Gilneas 8/12
Eye of the Storm 70/131
Strand of the Ancients 56/90
Twin Peaks 19/35
Warsong Gulch 65/136
Isle of Conquest 14/33
Total: 354/651 = 54.4% but armory says I've won 288/647=44.5%

Statistics pages are wierd. They never updated at least part of them for cata. There's no arch section in the proffs despite first aid, cooking, and fishing being there. And all the skill caps say like 525/450.

The stats for the individual BGs are correct though. Somehow they're just missing some games when they total it up.

I think they could probably address some of these BG inbalances by applying the PvE model and making people queue according to their roles. At least that way we'd have more than one healer for forty people on Alliance side.

I don't think that would solve much. If anything it would just be more annoying when the bots queue as healers to get the quicker bgs (they need to change the afk system, I'm real sick of carrying people who afk with no consequences). Healing is powerful, but only because the average pug bger is an drooling retard.
