I am selling the Shodowmourne tabard from my final legendary for 350k.

The tabard closely resembles a novelty basketball jersey I sold on commission via eBay on behalf of a girl I knew in my freshman year of college, for twice its market price. In the description on eBay, I said that "my ex-bf gave me the jersey as a present, but I never wore it except going to and from the shower". We divided the revenue and never spoke again. Because that sales pitch was successful, I shall likewise volunteer that this tabard does match an otherwise nekkid goatchick's complexion beautifully.

I am also looking to acquire the following TCG items for gold, or in trade for this item:
Spectral Tiger
Blazing Hippogryph
Mottled Drake
Woolly White Rhino
Banana Charm
D.I.S.C.O.
Foam Sword Rack
Grim Campfire
Imp in a Ball
Lil' Ragnaros
Moonkin Hatchling

Consider that gold is about $3/1k. The Spectral Tiger sells for about $500, so it is actually much more economical to trade that for this tabard than to buy the gold...if you're into that sort of thing.

I see your point - everything is relative.


I dunno though, somehow I could justify a rare mount purchase way more easily than a rare tabard.

The tabard offers an extra cooldown which greatly increases DPS and survivability in both PvE and PvP. Zaryi has seen me use it a lot in panic situations. The cooldown is so overpowered that it is not permitted in arenas or RBGs.

I too would be interested if it sold, but I don't care who dished out the gold. And oh btw, classes that cannot wield shadowmourne would be much more inclined to pay large sums of gold for items from the chest since many guilds are not running ICC but groups of friends are so the actually wielder would have much more control of the chest items. I have a group that is running ICC atm and my pally is second in line to knock out the quest chain (possibly Saturday) and then start farming shards.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.

Ah I see, I wasn't aware it had any value beyond just being rare.

Explain, wowhead makes no mention of any actual usefulness.

Anyone willing to drop 350k on that has enough gold that the number doesn't matter.
