We made slime, which isn't all that complicated but it's certainly fun!



I apparently flail at img tags, anyway my very very mature friends made it into a penis:

I, being equally mature, took a picture.

This might be shitfest worthy, who knows. I'm not able to move or delete anyway.

I'm curious what the component chemicals were.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.

50 mL 4% w/v poly(vinyl alcohol)

and

3mL 4% borax

The blue colour is from bromocresol green indicator.

The lab manual said to use something "stiff and wide" to stir the solution.

It then suggested a posicle stick.

This was our first fun lab since titrations.

Titrations are fun I don't care what any of you think.

Needs more explosions.

The only lab I had was a fairly boring bio lab, but near the end we took some frozen cow liver and extracted the dna. That was pretty awesome, it was just a clear jelly type substance.

I did the same thing in eighth grade. Then I did it again two years later.

Little bit different in college though, not the experiment, but the fact that we have to explain what and why it happens.

No one can honestly say this. You make no sense.

I took chem for engineers my first year in college. The lab class to go with it involved several hours of mind and soul crushing titration. Never again.
