When I saw this, I was really hoping that Zul'Drak would be the new 25 man.

Pure cost cutting. Why create entirely new maps when you can use the same one's, add/retool a few bosses...(or in ZA's case keep it the same), and just shit it out as "new content"

I spent hours upon hours of TBC in ZA, I have no need to go there again...and you're right, if I don't like it, I shouldn't play...and I won't. I just think it's hilarious how lazy Blizz has become. Oh well, they will just keep milking the cash cow and giving their offerings to the Activision god.

The zones they are implementing are FIVE MANS. While they may be just "redone" versions of old content these are places I and many others thoroughly enjoyed playing. Not only that but last time I checked you didn't need to do these to progress through the tiers of raiding. They didn't have to do these five mans and I wouldn't blame them if they didn't. They are just trying to implement another way for casuals like yourself to get "easy" gear, so don't understand why you are complaining. Just ignore the new dungeons.

I'm also really happy they're not bringing the warbear back since its one of my last tokens of elitism.

I too am still waiting on this. Also waiting to find out what snake road is, even if it is just one of yogg's tentacles.

I just took a look at the Rift classes and some gameplay videos and it just looks like wow with a slightly different visual style.

Tell me how the PvP is in Rift then MAYBE I'd think about giving it a shot.

Pretty sure however, my MMO journey began with WoW and it will probably end with WoW. If I still had my droid army I'd prob go play star wars minis again. Though I don't know if it's still any fun.

I haven't really played wow in months. I'm not making the comparison for a love of wow, I'm making the comparison because I watched gameplay videos and it looked like wow with a slightly different visual style, and the classes were basically warrior, paladin, death knight, assassination rogue, combat rogue, hunter, mage, etc etc etc. The assassination rogue stealthed up, cast "expose weakness", then ambushed, stunlocked, and backstabbed as long as he could until he had to switch to the combat rogue moves to finish the job, building combo points and then using a finisher.

IT'S THE SAME GAME.

(Tuhl and Akina will point out I did play for a few hours today, but I was exceedingly bored)

it's an mmo yes, and all are the same. however, rift has every thing i like about warhammer online(public quests, etc) except for the whole warhammer fantasy IP stuff.

it also has rifting, which are little small group things or giant raid things or world event things.

spawned at random. its crazy and hectic and fun.
