The game has come to the point where both sides can be fun. I personally would recomend a rogue over a mage simply because of the fact that leveling is slightly easier and pvp at low levels will have you giggling like a 6 year old. If you roll alliance please, for the love of God, do not roll furry. There are far too many furry rogues in the world at the moment. There actually seems to be a shortage of gnome and dwarf rogues and the 10% damage reduction of stoneform now would make a good fit for pvp. They did remove treasure finding but gave dwarves a bonus to archeology and since the weapon requirements are gone from combat you can go for the mace racial if you go combat.

Nearly all quest zones have been changed so you will actually experince old lands in a new way.

My nickname was always Boener...ah, we were so mature back in the day. I could make a female dwarf rogue named Antiboener, I guess, har har.

But seriously, I probably would want to roll one of the new races, and I already knew beforehand there were likely going to be an insane number of furry...most likely rogues; that was always THE most popular class, it always seemed.

I also have my eye on the Paladin and Huntard classes, too. Cata seems to have changed them around quite a bit, but I'm skeptical about the depth of gameplay of these two classes. Doing just a wee bit of research, like at Ye Olde Arenajunkies, Mage and Rogue always seemed to come out on top when it came to the question of "what class has the highest skillcap?", which seriously pushes me in favor them--seems like they'll keep me interested in the game longer because of it.

*shrug* Maybe I'll just roll a Goblin Rogue and a furry Mage. Supposedly it doesn't take too long to get to the level cap these days...though the thought of a furry "running wild" in a robe is an incredibly silly image in my mind. :P

My furry is a druid (boomkin/bear) so I did not have to deal with those caster animations, and I always ride in the humanoid form on a horse. Running wild does look ridiculous with a robe on.

As far as hunters, in pvp the new human and forsaken hunters seem to be popular. Since I have two accounts I made a goblin and human hunter, and I may delete a toon and make a forsaken. For paladins, the taurens are very interesting. The lore background had to be taken with a grain of salt at first, but hell they made orc mages and troll druids so why not holy cows. The racials are sick for pvp and tanking.

I'm instituting a new filter to properly reflect the choices of certain people to roll certain races.

If you roll a furry you should know exactly what you're getting yourself into.

Whelp, WoW's a pretty good game right now. If anything, I'd just level up something completely new since they really did a good job. However, the shit runs out quick to do at 85. I'm considering cancelling my sub until the new patch comes out.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.
