That's not so bad, when I was in High School, there was this obscure punk band that had a song with the lyrics "1 down and 3 to go! 1 down and three to go! FUCK THE BEATLES! FUCK THE BEATLES! FUCK THE BEATLES!"

I don't even like the Beatles that much (I like roughly 20 songs out of a like 500000 song discography) and I don't really like Nirvana at all, but I still want to punch Cziiki in the face for that comment.

Nah, i'm just sick of people regarding the Beatles and Nirvana as one of the greatest bands ever, yes they made great music, yes they are well known for it, but i just don't think they're worth the praise they get. Far as i'm aware there yes yet to be/will never be a greatest band ever.

Every artist has their shit years and every artist has shitty albums, and no artist can constantly produce album after album that is better than the next. Nirvana didn't birth grunge they were just the first group to get famous off of it. Same with the Beatles, they didn't birth the English invasion it had been happening for a while they were just the first to get famous off of it. Saying that the Beatles and Nirvana are worth praise is saying that N'Sync/Backstreet Boys/Darude/Any artist that was the 1st of their genre to obtain top 10 fame (once or more than once) is the epitome of the musical stylings of the generation.

I'll give you Nirvana for being one of the top bands of their time, same with the Beatles....but Greatest Bands of All Time don't exist...along with the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the female orgasm.
