TLDR version: I am looking to purchase Glory of the Cataclysm Raider for my guild.

As the guild already has the easiest of the three achievements - Cho'gall - only Nefarian and Al'akir would need to be downed in-guild, and as a guild run is so flagged with only eight players, only eight members of the run would need to actually join the guild.

After earning the achievement for the guild, the ten participants are free to leave (or remain), and will each receive 5,000g for their trouble.

This would be ideal for alts that would be wanting to do this anyway: de-guild and re-guild, and collect 50,000g for doing what would be done anyway.

I am making this offer because I wish to ensure I receive the phoenix and lion mount short of having to re-level rep with another guild - I am looking to take a break from WoW, and do not want to have to log on to do dailies for three months to reach exalted. Should I choose to return, I do not want to find these mounts have become unobtainable, so I want to get this done in the here and now.

If you have a team of ten individuals who would accept 5,000g each to get this done, please contact me in-game.

(please copy to realm forums)

50k for tagging your alts. If you want me to pack up and uninstall wow, you'll take this offer.

At least copy it to realm forums, please.

I remember you mentioning how you were going to not play after Wrath because you had a set of goals that you wanted to complete and you were very close to completing them. You mentioned how you wanted to retire Aestu and you said something to the effect of the toon being tucked away, perfect, neat, basically like a trophy, a testament to your accomplishments in WoW over the years (Tehra please find this thread, it may have been on this board...perhaps official forums though lol).

Obviously, this didn't happen, as you kept playing, and as Blizzard often does, they released new content, new achievements/mounts/"goals"

Now you are claiming that Glory of the Cata Raider is your last goal and you will quit once it is complete.

My question is, are you really going to quit? You of course know there will be new achievements, new mounts, new rewards, etc. released in new patches. What will stop you from having the desire to continually pursue those goals?

That's a very good question.

My objectives before quitting for Cata (and watching and waiting lest I come back):
1. Complete my Val'anyr (22/30 frags)
2. Acquire the Invincible
3. Acquire a Shadowmourne
4. Acquire the MH Warglaive of Azzinoth, completing the set
5. Acquire my last blacksmithing plan, Hard Khorium Battlefists
6. Acquire an Onyxia Drake and the eight or so other mounts I still need
7. Complete the following achievements: Shocking!, Arena Master, Traitor King, Resil Will Fix It, Set Us Up The Bomb (10), and the very few Ulduar-25 achievements I still need.
8. Farm up the astronomical amount of gold I'd need to buy one of the very few remaining Murky pets, probably involving trading gold for gamecards and gamecards for cash and cash for the Murky

I do believe Cata will likely hit just after October so I should be able to finish Mask Task - and with that, my last achievement - before then.

Currently, I seem to be 51st worldwide for paladins and within top 25 of highest number of FoSs. Not having Arena Master or Glory of the Icecrown-25 Raider or any realm firsts holds me back a great deal. If I accomplish a few of my goals I should be able to move into top ten in both categories.

I do wonder what my worldwide mount ranking is. I do not believe it is first, although I am probably top 25.

what, that?

You should easily remember how Aestu uses people like commodities to reach his goals. Convincing people that doing this for him and he'll quit is another means to an end. His foresight is severely myopic, though, so you can't really expect him to hold to his word anyway.

My response now is the same as it was then.

You've said that before, and I'll say my response again: I'm still "here". Just because I wasn't vocal about something then doesn't mean it was less of a concern then. Times change, circumstances change, and as I said in July 2009, I have other things I have to focus on, that my reprieve in WoW was gone.

I miss then too, but I also know that this is now not then.

I don't deny that I have a quioxtic personality or that I'm overly attached to WoW, but your commitment to this game is not what changed, what changed was the porosity of your grey matter.

Your recital of your prior post demonstrates your steadfast resolve to being a broken record.

I'll tell it. It's not my deal, anyway. :D

Everything is black and white and gray. I see two boys standing outside a long-abandoned, single-room schoolhouse in a wide flat rural countryside...like Kansas maybe. The little structure is entirely one color of dark graying old wood with a little empty steeple where a school bell once hung. The earth is sending up dead vegetation all around the building like hands grabbing and pulling, as if attacking an intruder. But the schoolhouse is holding its own, amazingly, considering its builders are long-since dead and anyone who ever attended a class here have either joined them, or will shortly. The roof looks solidly intact, and none of the 12-paned windows is broken. There are three steps up to the small porch... the door is closed, but there is little doubt that it is unlocked.

A road outside is white, chalky... likely crushed limestone...dry. Perfectly straight, it runs off to the horizon in both directions. Winds pick it up easily, swirling it around in little eddies. Fence posts line the edges of the fields. They are also white limestone, grooves chiseled into opposite faces. Any wire they ever supported is long since gone. They seem foreboding, like gravemarkers. Almost glowing, they remind me of the crosses in that Ansel Adams photograph...I think it's called Moonrise. Whatever.

Endless fields have a late winter look to them... ragged and dead and ignored. The two boys are a few years apart... one maybe 12, the other 8. The older kid is anxious to get inside the school to get away from some threat that he perceives. I don't see what he's afraid of. Maybe he's just anxious to get started. He keeps looking all around, up, and pulling at the younger boy. For some reason, he needs to get into that building but will not go without the other boy.

The younger one is not convinced. He is more averse to going into the building. He is not afraid of whatever is outside; in fact, he is contemptuous of whatever the older one sees. Impasse. The older one is certain he is right, but needs the younger one with him to summon the courage to walk up those steps, to open that door. The younger one knows what he knows and would rather scoff at what he sees than face what he can't.

Good, now I clue you into the part I singled out.

During the summer of 2009, I approached my father with what was running through my perceived porous grey matter.

He informed me that his mother used to have vivid visions of the past. He then told me that, on occasion, he will have everything go black, white, and gray on him, then back to full color. Except for a single person in his sight. That person remains in the greyscale, and they're dead within a year.

ps: you're welcome for the free bumps.

Seeing as it's 2011, let us know if everyone is gray now.

You would want to know closer to 12/22/11, so ask then, not now.
