The government does use some private contractors for IT security, but the people that Anonymous is going to get pinched by aren't those guys. They aren't just going to get the first few losers that don't know their shit, either. They're going to let it go on long enough to get the more sophisticated members. Once the "big-dogs" get smacked on the nose with the rolled-up newspaper, the runts will stop barking...and the ones that don't will get popped as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if their attacks on Paypal and others haven't been watched closely in anticipation of something like this.
