A while ago i decided i wanted to get more into starcraft and so i joined a clan. If anyone else is in the same boat, looking for something a little more organized/just a group of people to play/practice with you can check it out here http://www.feverclan.com/forums/forum.php Its pretty cool, lots of cool/good people. We have a competetive squad that does team based tournys (think GSL team league) and a group for lower ranked players.

For a couple weeks I was playing a lot like 1.5 months ago, got rid of all my bonus pool, #1 diamond in my division and like #50 diamond in NA according to sc2ranks. Got busy, played a lot less, all the people around me in my division got promoted to master's. Now I play every now and then, get owned pretty bad. Pretty much just watch SC now lol

I be super pro, been playing in a bunch of tournaments online, never get far in though. Theres always that one guy who decides to 3rax me or 1-1-1 push out of fucking nowhere. Thats one reason i open DTs vs terran like 90% of the time now.

build order? I seem to get rolled even though my DTs are ready by 6.5 - 7 mins

I try not to get them to win/at all if i dont have to. I open 3 gates (extra two around 27 food) and then expand around 30 something food. If i scout agression from him like 3 rax pushes i drop DT shrine as soon as i can and i either use them to help defend or just fuck him up after he fucked me up because if he is one base he wont have enough scans for a while. I just send them in one at a time. Vs terran you will almost never win because of scan. Use DTs to get an advantage and take advantage, win later. I dont go super fast dts, i just get them when i will need them.

Bah, that's my biggest problem. I will cripple my opponent, but will be too late on the follow-up. By the time I do get something rolling, he has rebuilt everything and then some. Then it becomes a half hour game where I mass void rays with 3/3/3 upgrades + a mothership and then I win.

And I doubt this works past bronze.

Its probably a case of not expanding quick enough. As a general rule you want your expansion down by 10 minutes AT THE LATEST. Once it is down start teching to colosus and get a good amount of those. Grab your third before 15 minutes and another expansion after that. Just keep adding on warpgates or more stuff as your money gets high.

4 production facilities=1 fully saturated base. so 3gates 1 robo or 3gates 1 stargate or 4gates per base.
