edit: did anybody else have stacks of nintendo power before they cared to read most of the articles contained therein?
i had the ducktales game and the codename: viper game too. the latter was pretty difficult.
i was subscribed to nintendo power during parts of the 2nd & 3rd grade. because of the subscription, they sent you a game guide every 3 months. it had a guide for super mario 3, ninja gaiden 2, final fantasy, and some other game.

Lion King, Toy Story, Echo The Dolphin, TMNT, and World of Illusion were some of the earliest games I remember playing unless you want to count Mario and Duckhunt.
I remember my Aunt had the Sega Channel, that shit was awesome.
Edit: I too used to get Nintendo power and read articles or at least the ones that interested me, possibly others if I was bored, but I think I only ever subscribed to Tips and Tricks.
