Was delish. Flank Steak. Lightly peppered. 12 minutes on the grill, flipping every three minutes. High heat for the first six minutes. Closed the vents about 2/3 at the halfway mark.

Sliced and served.

A steak should only be flipped once during cooking, heathen. It says so in the Bible.

Eturnal's steak looks pretty good, though I'd probably go for a redder inside.

And, more importantly, the thick-crust bread (read: bakery sourdough) to sop up all of that bloody, salty goodness.

You can get a decent steak for anywhere from $5-8, a potato and onion for $1, and some greens for $1-2, depending on what's in season and what you get (I don't know the price on fresh spinach, but its probably cheaper than asparagus and asparagus is a fuckton of money until it comes into season, which is iirc mid-late summer).

It would cost you about the same to make a decent steak dinner as it would for you to buy a pizza.

And with that you can feed yourself Ramen for 2-3 weeks.

Student cooking can suck.

One of my favorite things about getting a large flank steak is the Ramen I can make afterwards...

If you need a way to add love to your ramen, you could buy a bag of frozen mixed vegs or some cabage and cook it in the seasoned juice. Fried eggs are always great to add to ramen as it simmers. For meat, you might be able to scrape some money to go buy some thin slices of beef... cook it up shabu shabu style.
