If you're feeling particularly fat, go to Le Plomb du Cantal because not only is it delicious, but the portions are massive.

Otherwise, any corner Brasserie will do in a pinch, and it's about as authentic as it gets. Crêperies are also always good, even if it's not the regional specialty. And North African restaurants are better in France than anywhere else in Europe (or really anywhere outside North Africa).

Cigs n coffee or baguette and camembert for breakfast, skip lunch and whatever sounds good for dinner, I like provencial french food best, but you're not going to get a bad meal in paris, though a shitty waiter is certainly possible.

I did go to Le Plumb De Cantan or however you spell it lol

The meals were quite massive, but unfortunately due to the price being a bit steep for the meat we only settled for the omelette and potatoes. I wanted the meat but we had already spent so much money on food, Paris' Brasserie are quite expensive

The food was quite good but there was a shit load of cheese. There was so much cheese in the ham&cheese omelette and combined with the cheese in the potato it got kind of overboard and felt sickening

But before that happened it was awesome

Would go again!

Also found a lot of cheap restaurants on that road so was awesome.

Hate how France&UK are so stingy with toilets in Cities/Tourist spots, they seem like a rare commodity.
Not cool when you need to use them.

Yeah I probably should have mentioned it's a cheese-themed restaurant. My bad, lol. Glad you enjoyed it though!

But yeah food in touristy cities is never cheap, especially when they know they can get away with it.

When I went to Germany you needed to pay a Euro to use the bathroom at a rest stop on the Autobahn.
