talk about the human species going backwards

I'm not entirely sure there is any point in sending a petition to a dictatorial government. I'm tired of empty gestures, even though I don't think anyone needs to be murdered because they woke up not realizing how the whole Tab A/Slot B thing is supposed to work.

Uganda's not a dictatorship, but a petition would do anything. You're better off petitioning your congressional reps to put pressure on Uganda.



That's because it was done by people from this country. You know all that batshit crazy stuff you hear from some true believers, the stuff that you dismiss because it's insane? That's what started this. The law includes (or included last time I read about it, this has been around for at least a year now) not only death for anyone gay, but possibly death for people who knew someone was gay but didn't turn them over to be killed.

Ok so as I read up on it, they are talking about taking out the death penalty, but that hasn't been done yet.
