I figure we're far enough into the season that it's safe to discuss without spoiling anything. Anyone been watching this? As someone who read the books, I'd say they've been doing a good job with it.

With the exception of the gratuitous porn, but it's HBO so that's par for the course.

I think the show is pretty good but because I already know the story from the books I am not as "into it" as I could be. I'm currently reading A Feast for Crows and I have loved the books and would absolutely recommend them. The series is good but it isn't something that "excites" me.

I've not read the books but I'm loving the series so far, HBO usually does a really good job with their series.

Yeah I haven't read the books either but after the last episode I'll be damned if I'm going to wait half a year for more.

Love books, love the show; just frustrated that I'm 3 episodes behind due to lack of HBO at my house :(

edit: I guess since my GPU is fried and school is starting (not working qq), I can reread all of them while I stalk my landlord and learn the ways of jewelery making.

I watched the last few episodes here:

http://www.letmewatchthis.ch/

If you have to wait for it to load, don't use it. The streaming ones work pretty well, I don't remember which links I used for the last three, but I could look it up if you want. It's not always the greatest quality, but it's not bad either, especially if you want to watch it, but don't have access to HBO anymore (sigh).

Anywho, hope that helps.

I have been watching this since day one, I love the show because it is something different. People just have to remember that this is a 4 book series and there is much more to come. My wife bought the book set Last weekend but I was at work so she got first dibs on reading them. i am going to grab book one when she starts the second. She says the storyline in the book is written from the characters points of view instead of actual chapters. I did like the cliffhangers at the end of the season and the fact that season two was picked up as soon as the first episode had finished airing was a good sign.

There is HBO.GO if you know anyone that has HBO or if your folks have HBO at home. Not all services providers have it though so you may need to check on availablilty. Xfinity/Comcast had it for beta testing so I have been using it for months. Watching GoT or rewatching Entourage on my iPhone ftw.

It's 7 books, GRRM is just slow as shit at writing them. Dance with Dragons isn't out yet (July 12).

Episode 10 was good, with one gratuitous porn exception. Everyone on the planet apparently fucks the same whore.
