The vote having turned out decisively against the status quo, we should now run a thread for a week to announce candidacies.

Then 9 people would be leaving for greener pastures, correct?

Mayo has admin power on the board. Crebain gave it to him. You can't "vote" him off like this is Survivor.

But you will persist in this charade of rallying the troops with your fingers in your ears, glistening with fresh pressed oil from the cream of the corn crop.

Go ahead and have your little election. I'm really going to enjoy all of the effort you put in for absolutely nothing (and the angst you're going to get when you nominate yourself and nobody votes for you but yourself).

Actually, a proper analogy with Survivor would be a permaban. This is merely saying he won't be chieftan of the sandbar. If IHAB insists on dealing with Mayo, then Mayo can continue to be "liason" with IHAB but no longer moderate the boards on a day-to-day basis.

You talk because you know you've pissed people off and are suddenly worried about the consequences.

I have no intention of nominating myself. I have no interest in being a moderator.

I'm really looking forward to you explaining to Marc and Nick, people I've known for about 3 years now, that you're demanding them to force the person they trusted with their website from having any sort of control over it because you're butthurt that I made fun of you.

If you think that how I'm jabbing at you is bad, you should see the I Has A Bucket recruitment threads.

EDIT: There's literally nothing you can do. Not only does it say in the rules that I will be a mod here forever (permamod), but the reason that we're even on this site is because I was trusted with it since I've known them for so long.

If I were you, I'd start making a new FUBU, because that's the only way you're going to get rid of me (and, by the looks of it, you might not be welcome here for much longer anyways).

Why do I never see these damn polls before they close :(

I vote no. The mods are fine. Besides, anything that they do can be undone if you are willing to rationally discuss it and let the other mods consider and vote-- without being a dick. I know that's a foreign concept for some people on this board though.

"For Us, By Us" means just that. You are accountable to the patrons who have voted on this poll.

If you want to continue to have admin to be liason with these people that's fine. Admin =/= moderator

That would be the option of last resort, yes. It would also have the distinct benefit of us not being subletters on another guild's site.

Guess what? You don't have rights here. You're at the mercy of Mayo now and forever as long as you post here, so shut the fuck up or leave.

This thread should be put in shitfest.

On topic, I think people want you exercise your powers less Mayo.
I'm sure Tuhl and the other mods are able to take care of anything that needs to be taken care of.
I mean, honestly, locking threads and threatening with bans is pretty unnecessary.

As much as you don't like some and they don't like you, this wouldn't even be without all of us.

We're done here. I think Lucinth got an adequate last response in.
