So, Aestu is in love with Akiina, who finds him to be utterly despicable and thus caused him to go for Zaryi who massaged his ego, but then he lost there too (too much corn oil)....so now he's utterly alone but still pining secretly for both Zaryi and Akiina while attempting to hide it by ripping on both of them publicly.

This is what I will believe, for it is amusing.
