Lately my girlfriend has been experiencing really bad headaches and double vision. She's had migraines before so she knows the difference. She recently underwent an MRI to determine possible causes. I am basically scared shitless that its serious.

So if anyone is religious and wants to pray on her behalf, I won't make fun of you for it. Just this once though.

Everyone else, just think good thoughts. We're really hoping its Lyme Disease or something else that's treatable with ease, but her family has cancer history and like 6 months ago I had a terrible dream that she had some sort of terminal illness and told me she had it...and then I woke up sobbing hysterically and yelling 'No!'

I don't believe in dreams meaning shit and all that stuff, but you can't help but wonder...I'm just a nervous wreck right now :/ and I'm sure I'm not making any sense.

Why not? I don't think much of prayer or the people who live by it, but I'd still ask for any sort of positive energy I could get in that situation.

Although I mock prayer just a few posts above this one...I cannot eliminate the possibility that positive energy is helpful. If nothing else, it's helpful to know that those around you are wishing you and yours the best.

I went to a Catholic high school. When my dad was getting open heart surgery he was mentioned over the PA in our morning prayer (we'd always do this for sick people, people who have died...anyone important to the school).

It made me feel better just knowing people were sending out good prayer vibes.
