We've had this discussion before, and I know your opinion of yourself won't change. You think you're so smart in all things, a Grand Poobah who is better than everyone else in every conceivable way, yet you fail when it comes to simple things like interpersonal relationships. It's almost astonishing that you cannot see this. Your arrogance blinds you to your flaws.
You'll dismiss me as a simpleton, which is your prerogative. I know what test scores I've received, I know how much money I make in a year, and I know that I'm a lot smarter than you would ever give me credit for.
I admit I have my shortcomings, and I admit that there are those who have skills that I do not possess. Unlike you, I think humility is a positive trait. Someone with great intelligence who also knows how to be humble...that's someone I can truly admire, but someone you would consider weak.
Our difference is in philosophies, Aestu. Perhaps you scored higher on some aptitude tests than I did, but who will be more successful in life?
Truthfully, that depends on your individual definition of success.
I define success as the ability to form strong relationships with peers, understand divergent viewpoints, enjoy the company of loved ones, have few monetary and career worries, all while maintaining a moral code built on the pillars of honor and integrity.
In that way, I feel I am more successful than you could ever hope to be...lest you change your outlook on life.
But that's just like, my opinion, man.
