Been a while since i posted in here, but anyone else use/fund ideas on this site?

Been monitoring and funding a couple products every once and a while (iPod Nano watch, 0% waste sandals, some guy making instant organic green tea, etc.), which gets me to here: apparently in one of the projects i funded and wrote to the creator...i've become a founding member (IE: i now get free samples of the item they're making to give out/beta test)

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/legendary/earbuds-time-to-change-the-status-quo

Basically the idea and product the guy is making is modular headphones. He explains it better on the site but what he's going for are a pairs of headphones that allow parts to easily be replaced, which means instead of buying a new pair of headphones if a earbud or wiring breaks/fails, you just buy another earbud. But yeah something looking into, the product usually takes around eh...3-4 months for the company to develop and produce (considering the money you pledge gets funded to them only when they reach their goal and the time period ends), worth the wait considering the quality of the products.

Picture of me with my iPod Nano watch (which makes me a douchebag) below:

I'd fucking have soundbytes responses on it.

Make it sound like a wrist communicator around people.

Maybe have a conversation with Cobra Commander?

pretty sure i can't record sound on it...but i can attach a speaker to it while it's on my arm and blast Careless Whisper incredibly loudly.

oh and the alarm sound on it is the nuclear launch detected noise from Starcraft.

You click on the Video Chat thing at the lower-right, and it brings up some box. You enter a name in the box then it's like an IRC chat. If you're really brave, you turn on your webcam and everyone in chat can see you. Multiple web cam chats can be visible at the same time. I think the most homo thing was me, Azelma and Cziiki were showing off random shit on our desks.

But chicks make that party less gay.

FASHION SEGMENTS!

Pretty much only invest in fashion and design, because they're the only ones you actually get good products back from.

The novelty wore off. The shitty thing about it is whenever you click a link or refresh the page, you're kicked from your session. If it was super-smart like Facebook Chat or something then I'd be on it all the time.

But its not.
