I always wanted to be a Jedi...but that's the same side as Jar Jar...so maybe Sith is the way to go.

I know at least my friend and I will probably start as Sith. But nobody really cares since we plan on playing it all at some point.
I'm sure it can be worked out.

If an MMO comes out where i can whittle some, sign me up. Til then i can't see myself playing another one. Especially if they follow in WoW's footsteps.

Also, no reason why you people skipping GW2 for SWToR can't play both. GW2 is just going to have a 60$ box price, w/no sub. I'm passing on ToR for the time being, as I'm just... not fond of the leaks I've seen and the bits of it I've played. I'll get the chance to get a full demo experience later this month, but I doubt that'll convince me to buy it...

That's depressing considering you seemed like one of the most excited people for SWToR.

I think the problem SWToR will have is that expectation is so high considering the source material and all the potential therein. I don't think it will ever truly meet expectations.

SWtoR will be reskinned WoW with lightsabers and blasters.

Good enough for me. WoW's the only good MMO ever made, and playing clones was good enough for all you chumps that played Rift.

I got a 7 day pass for Rift.

It's basically like WoW, with some hints from AoC and Warhammer.

I did like the the classes all having a large number of customizations.

But I'm holding out for GW2.

i played as much of the beta as i could as a squig herder and shaman

it became too painful, though. at least some of it was different.

I've been considering making this thread for a while now.

I think a FUBU guild would be sexcellent, to say the least. As far as recruiting outsiders, we'd ensure they had similar ideals as us.

In my view, we just pick the game, hopefully one with enticing pvp as well as pve. Divide the guild into three branches:

PvP
PvE
Casual

Make sure we're all on the same page as to what our goals are. Do we want to be contenders for server firsts, or are we okay with simply clearing content prior to any nerfs?

Do we want to be Gladiator-esque caliber pvp oriented, or are we open to recruiting and training those who have the intelligence and the drive to get better. Will we have a Friend and Family rank for spirit gemming night elf death knight types to just dick around and do their own thing?

Just some things to consider.
