I like that one because I had the exact same thing happen to me once in high school. It wasn't until I told my best friend (her friend as well) that I realized I was a complete and utter moron.

guys for the most part(except douche bags and players) tend to err on the side of caution.

For example. A girl I had a thing for a few months ago, but who wasn't interested in dating, is now dating someone at the place I'm applied to/waiting to hear back from. Tonight, she was blowing my phone up, not his, because she was bored.

If you want to hang out with me, fine, but be single. If you don't want to be single and hang out, don't bother me. This should be LAW.

Back in my undergraduate days, I was after a particular girl. To try and get in good with her, I was also making friends with her roommate. Little did I know that the roommate was actually trying to put the moves on me.

We're sitting together in the main cafeteria, chatting about our day. She tells me that she has obnoxious homework - she's supposed to watch this French movie, for her French course, and do a report on it. She tells me how it's an old black and white film, supposed to be very romantic, etc. She invites me to come over and watch it with her.

What she was saying: "Do you want to come to my room, alone, and watch a romantic movie in the dark?"

What I heard: "Do you want to do my French homework for me?"

My response: "Hahaha... absolutely not."

It was not until 2 months later that someone informed me she was after me, and that this really upset her.

This one time, my friend and I were walking home on the highway as we didn't have a car any more. A few miles out of town a bus stopped and the door opened. It was full of beautiful girls in bikinis! They told us they were looking for two oil boys to grease them up before competitions. My friend told them they were in luck and told them the town was just a few miles ahead. The girls thanked us an drove off. But my friend was an idiot! The town was back the other way. I started running and managed to catch up to the bus to told them the town was back the other way.

Good thing I caught that mistake, or they never would have made it to town.

I'm sorry, my friends a little slow in the head. The town is THAT way.
