LOOOL i use to work at dollar tree, but i had this issue with homosexual employees always wanting to hit on me so i left that place, now i'm a employee for pepsi and i don't have to come home and tell my girlfriend "well got my ass slapped from another man today".

Problem is i don't really have an ideal job so much as an ideal set of standards:

-Payed well enough to live a middle class life with a few luxuries
-Working at a company where the office environment makes me want to go to work
-Solid Job Security and a decent HMO plan with a good 401K

Beyond that i don't really care what i have to do to meet those qualifications.

Reconstructive surgeon. Don't want to say plastic surgeon because the colloquial sense of the word is exactly what I DON'T want to do.

Imagine being responsible for giving someone their life back, for example by fixing a super-burned face or something. Such a feeling would be it's own reward, though that's not to the big bucks and prestige are small motivators ;-)

I went into therapy during my parents' divorce when I was 10-14 years old (yeah, it was a 4 year divorce) and for me, it was less of getting advice but more of talking to an entirely neutral party that's bound not to tell anyone anything.

As for me, it'd probably be a lot like Anthony Bourdain's current job but instead of a TV show, I'd be writing articles for a major magazine instead. Getting flown around the world and experiencing all of those food and cultures (not to mention getting shitfaced in every country that serves alcohol) on someone else's dime? Count me in.
