Haven't been there since they took down the Scream Machine actually, so couldn't tell you about the Green Lantern thing. Medusa/Batman are the kings of that park anyway.

I intensely dislike all amusement parks - pretty much any kind of large-scale entertainment, really, be it concerts, casinos, clubs, restaurants, what have you.

Amusement parks are especially difficult for me because I have an intangible quality which makes me stand out in large groups of people.

It's not so much the large-scale as it is the large amount idiots running around. Florida sucks, especially with all the (god knows why they come here) tourists.

For me, it is also the scale.

I don't like things larger-than-life - I find it unnatural and unsettling. I don't like environments that are either excessively clean or filthy. I like everything built to human scale, and I prefer visual detail over sheer size or gaudiness. I also avoid shopping malls, big-box shopping centers and most modern museums for this reason.

I also don't like things that are contrived. By the same token, people that are contrived tend to find me very threatening. This means that most American mass institutions are not my kind of place. I have an especial fear of airports.

I prefer urban environments, small-scale attractions and holes in the wall.

@Aestu, well then the island life is perfect for you, unless you are one of those deep depressed kind who cannot be alone or they will think only sad thoughts.

P.S. the Amusement park i was talking about is Cedar Point, owned by Cedar Fairs, im sure you've heard of it, Cedar Fairs also bought out all of the Six Flags parks.

Agreed. I think my record was riding Medusa 5 times in a row.

That being said, Cedar Point still crushes Six Flags Great Adventure.

It is obvious to me that none of you have ever been to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA.

Fucking food in the Oktoberfest area alone makes it worth the trip...plus it's run by a fucking beer company, so you can drink ALL DAY LONG (too bad it's shitty Anheuser Busch beer).

Oh, and they have rides and shows and stuff, too.
