Quote:
Patch 4.3+
•The new 5 man dungeons will help to introduce the Deathwing Raid.
•The current plan with the Deathwing raid is to have it all available immediately upon release.
•The Deathwing raid will be smaller than Ulduar with many phases or encounters with Deathwing.
•Patch 4.4 will bring a world event before the next expansion.
The next expansion should be released with a "meaningful difference" in timeline compared to previous expansions.

Future Changes and Features
•Paid Guild Transfers are still in the works.
•Battle.net account wide achievements are still in the works.
•Armor dyes are unlikely to be included in the game, but mount customization is a possibility.
•Class Quests are unlikely to return due to the amount of time it takes to design and implement them.
•No gold sinks are coming soon because of the large variance in the amount of gold players have.
•A real money Auction House is not planned for WoW.

Other Notes
•RealID LFD grouping was originally going to be paid because of the similarity to Paid Character Transfers, but they decided it was the right thing for the game to offer it for free.
Cross realm RealID grouping is going to be expanded to cover Battlegrounds as well. Depending on how well that works it could be expanded to raids and rated battlegrounds.
•There has been a drop in gold farming because phishing and hacking accounts is more profitable.
New players are still having trouble with the first 30 minutes and five levels of the game, more hand holding is coming.
•Blizzard did a lot to save time while getting Cataclysm finished, but ended up happy with the final result.
•The shared 10 and 25 man lockout has had both positive and negative effects, it solved the need to do both every week but removed some extra content that could be done every week. Some changes will be made in the future to make everyone happier with the solution.

Could be neat.

Milking the cow.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

Could be but I doubt it. They are apparently taking a huge leap forward lorewise which I suppose they could use to implement lore.

Huge leap forward in time = Pandaria magically appears after the CATACLYSM caused by Deathwing being defeated.

What could possibly be the problem? I never had this issue. It also seems like absolutely nothing has been added since release except Firelands.

Maybe they will finally add authenticators in every vanilla box

It's only a couple of bucks for an authenticator, the majority of which covers s&h (which is free). I can't imagine the piddly amount they make would offset the cost of the time spent repairing accounts that were hacked, dealing with all the chargebacks and stolen credit cards, and any other assorted problems that come along with rampant hacking.

Ah, I didn't realize S&H was covered in the cost. So alrighty, pretty piddly then (I love this word!)

Self-contained authenticators are fundamentally more secure and reliable than cellphone authenticators.

Bring out lower quality, more superficial content, more often, in the hope that running the treadmill faster somehow increases the incentive to play.

The revolving door is running out of raw material.

Almost everyone older than 16 who would ever try this game already has, so they have to make the game appeal to idiots and children. They are quite literally trying to turn the game into Hello Kitty Island Adventure, because that's the only demographic offering raw material (and who would actually sit through this crap).

I mean, really, who else would sit through LFD, Baradin Hold, Tol Barad and honor grinds?

How do you think you correct gold variance? F**king moron.

According to the whole leaked timeline, the next expansion is suppose to be out next summer or so. The deathwing patch is suppose to be out this fall. As far as hand holding, a drunk chimp could level a human player to level 15 while masturbating and smoking weed at the same time. Hand holding, lol, why dont you just let people insta level every time they dont shit themselves while trying to figure out why the game is designed for keyboard turning but when you keyboard turn you stand in fire. I have a feeling ToR is going to rape wow.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.

Man Blizzard is really panicking now that they realize people are leaving the game in droves.
